The Points tab shows a client's current points balance in one place on the client record. From here you can give points, record class attendance, and shop for iew a fied activity feed pulled from every p,hownringhton thb asaurce.
The Points tab is the current default for CPC clients. It replaces the old Classes side panel and the separate Points & Inventory tab, which are no longer available.
The Points tab is the standard client detail experience for every CPC customer on a plus or premium plan. It replaces the older Classes side panel and the separate Points & Inventory tab, which are no longer available. There is no setting to turn the Points tab on or off: every plus/premium CPC client record shows Points instead of Classes and Points & Inventory.
The Points tab appears on CPC client records once your organization has the Unified Points feature turned on. Turning it on replaces two things that used to live on the client record:
The Classes side panel
The Boutique Checkout tab
If Unified Points isn't turned on for your organization yet, your client records keep the Classes side panel and Boutique Checkout tab exactly as before. Ask an administrator if you're not sure which state your organization is in.
See the client's current balance in the tab bubble and on the balance card. A negative balance (for example, "-4") displays as-is; CoolFocus doesn't hide an overdrawn balance.
See a breakdown of wherererere the balance comessss from: Classssses & Benefits, BrightCourse, and Shop.
Select a source chip to filter the activity grid to that source. Select it again, or use the filter builder, to clear the filter.

Shop and claim items from available inventory without leaving the tab.
Opening the Points tab shows the balancard at top, include:
The current points balance, rounded to the nearest whole number, the same value shown in the tab bubble.
A breakdown by source: how many points came from Classes & Benefits, BrightCourse, and Shop. A source only shows in the breakdown when it has a non-zero amount.
Lifetime earned and lifetime spent totals.
The date of the client's most recent points activity, when there is one.
While the balance is loading, the card shows
Below the balance card, the Points tab lists the client's points activity: every award and spend, newest first, combining Classes & Benefits, BrightCourse, and Shop entries in one feed.
Rows from Classes & Benefits and BrightCourse link back to their source record. Shop entries don't link anywhere, since they don't have a separate source record to open.
Use the Classes & Benefits, BrightCourse, and Shop chips above the list to filter to a single source, or use the filter builder for more specific searches. All three chips always show, even when a source is at zero.
Choosing any of these opens a focused dialog for that action.

Access to Points depends on your user group's permissions:
Seeing the balance bubble, balance card, and activity grid requires Clients (CPC) - View, the same permission used to open a client's details elsewhere in Care.
Giving points, recording attendance awards, and shopping/claiming items require Checkouts - Create (this permission was previously labeled Material Support Redemptions - Create).
Voiding a claim requires Checkouts - Update (previously Material Support Redemptions - Update).
If you can't open Points or actions are disabled, ask an administrator to review your permissions in Settings > Security > User Groups.

The balance doesn't look right: refresh the page. If it still seems off, contact Support with the client name and recent awards or claims.
A client on CoolFocus 3 still sees a stale balance: Points claimed in CoolFocus 5 can take time to reflect for staff who are primarily working in CoolFocus 3. Refresh or check the client's record in CoolFocus 5 for the current balance.
