CoolFocus does not have a standalone public opt-in form — the kind of "subscribe to our newsletter" or "sign up for texts" widget a visitor fills out on their own to join a list. There's no embeddable form that creates a subscriber record by itself.
A few existing features cover related ground. Each is built for a narrower job than a general CRM sign-up form.
A chat bubble on your website. A visitor starts a live conversation, not a form, and CoolFocus creates a contact in your Client, Donor, or Volunteer domain when they do. The conversation lands in Inbox next to your texts. It's built for real-time back and forth, not for building a mailing list. See Website Chat Widget.
A public page for taking an online gift. It captures the donor's name, email, and payment details because a donation is happening, not as a general newsletter signup. See Donation Forms & Next Steps for CoolPay Onboarding.
Sent to one specific client tied to an appointment, not published as an open page for anonymous visitors to sign up. See Forms vs. Charts.
This is not a data-capture form. It's the public proof page carriers and Twilio review to approve your organization for SMS (A2P/10DLC registration). It shows that people consented to texting; it does not collect new subscribers on its own. See Client Texting Consent Form Requirements.
Until CoolFocus ships a public opt-in form, most organizations handle it outside CoolFocus and bring the results in:
1. Build the sign-up form on your own website or with an outside tool such as Google Forms. Ask for name, email, phone, and a clear, unchecked-by-default consent statement for each channel (email, text, or both).
2. Export the responses to a CSV.
3. Import that CSV into CoolFocus as contacts or donors. See Importing Contacts and Donors.
4. Reach those people going forward with a segment email (see Sending Emails) or through Inbox for texting.
Keep the signed or recorded consent from your outside form on file. Before you can text a new list of contacts, your organization's texting registration still needs a verifiable opt-in process on record. See Signing Up for Inbox: Texting Compliance Requirements.
