A Service Received is the record of one person being served. It's the individual-level counterpart to Needs Met: when you record a Needs Met for a household and select the adults and children served, CoolFocus creates one Service Received per person you selected.

The person served (and their age at the time of service).
The date of service.
The Needs Met it came from (and, through that, the related request, voucher, or referral).
You'll find Service Received on each client's Service Received tab and in the Service Received list for your organization.
Service Received answers "how many individuals did we serve?" — one record per person. It feeds the Adults Served and Children Served figures on the Affiliate Annual Report and grant reporting.
This is the key difference from Needs Met: a family of five helped once is one Needs Met but five Service Received. Count Needs Met for needs met; count Service Received for people served.
A person only gets a Service Received if they were selectable as an adult or child served on the Needs Met — which means they must be a client and a member of the household. If someone is missing from your served counts, check their household membership.
