Branding is not one settings page. What a client, donor, or website visitor sees depends on where they see it, so CoolFocus splits branding across a few screens. Use this article to find the one you need.
| What you want to change | Where to find it | What it controls |
|---|---|---|
| Organization logo, name, address | Settings → Organization Settings |
Your logo and org name used across CoolFocus, including document and email template headers. Also the fallback logo for the Donor Portal and for donation forms and the Client Portal when they have no logo of their own set |
| Client Portal logo, title, and welcome message | Settings → Modules → Care Settings → Client Portal → General |
The Portal Logo, Portal Title, and Welcome Message clients see when they sign in. If no Portal Logo is set, the organization logo is used instead |
| Website Chat Widget colors and text | Settings → Chat Widget, then open a channel |
The header greeting, accent color, start-conversation button text, and launcher position for the chat bubble on your website |
| Donation page look and feel | Giving → Donation Forms, open a form, then its Design tab |
Featured image, primary color, and other appearance options for that donation page, grouped under Branding & Appearance in the page designer |
Settings → Organization Settings is your center's public profile inside CoolFocus: name, email, website, address, and logo.
The logo you upload here shows up anywhere CoolFocus needs a default logo and nothing more specific has been set, for example template headers, the Donor Portal, and any donation form or Client Portal that has not been given its own logo.
The Client Portal has its own logo, title, and welcome message, separate from the organization logo.
Go to Settings → Modules → Care Settings → Client Portal → General to set the Portal Logo and Portal Title. Leave the Portal Logo blank to use your organization logo instead.
The Welcome Message on the same page is text, not an image or color, but it is part of what clients see first after they sign in. See Customizing the Client Portal Welcome Message.
The chat bubble on your website has its own greeting, accent color, button text, and position, set per channel under Settings → Chat Widget.
Website Chat Widget is included on the Premium plan. Core and Plus do not include it. If you do not see Chat Widget in Settings, check Settings → Plan & Billing, or ask CoolFocus support about upgrading.
See Website Chat Widget for every field on a channel.
Each donation form has a Design tab with a visual page designer. Its Branding & Appearance panel sets the primary color (a hex code) and other look-and-feel options for that specific page.
The Featured Image field (on the form's Details, shown at the top of the page and its thank-you page) falls back to your organization logo when left blank, and to your organization's initial and name if there is no logo either.
See Donation Forms & Next Steps for CoolPay Onboarding for the full Design tab and every donation form field.
