The Zapier integration connects CoolFocus to thousands of other apps, so information can move automatically between CoolFocus and the other tools your organization uses.
Open Settings, then go to Integrations and choose Zapier.
Send a new CoolFocus donation to another app, or bring a gift recorded elsewhere (like Bloomerang or Stripe) into CoolFocus.
Create a CoolFocus contact when someone fills out an outside form.
Book, reschedule, or cancel a CoolFocus appointment from a scheduling tool like Calendly or Acuity.
Intake a Love INC request from a web form and match it to the right household.
Log a staff task or a note on a contact's timeline from another app.
CoolFocus also offers a few ready-made templates on the Zapier settings page, such as syncing Bloomerang or Stripe gifts into Give, or sending new donors to Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
Admins can turn Zapier access on or off for each module separately, such as Give, Outreach, Scheduler, and Connect. If a module is switched off, Zapier cannot read or write that module's records, even if the organization's plan includes it.
Clinical and care records, including medical charts, ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, vitals, STI screenings, prescriptions, and patient assessments, are permanently excluded from Zapier. This lockout cannot be turned on by any account setting.
CoolFocus also automatically leaves sensitive fields, like Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, card numbers, and passwords, out of anything sent through Zapier.
Only CoolFocus admins, or users with Integrations admin access, can turn the integration on, choose which modules it can reach, or manage its API key. See API Keys and Connected Apps for how the key is shown, copied, and regenerated.
From the Zapier settings page you can also see the Zaps currently connected to your organization, send a test event to one, or remove it if you no longer use it.
