Peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraising lets supporters raise money on behalf of one of your events by sharing their own personal fundraising pages. P2P campaigns are managed from within an event, not from a top-level menu list.
Open the event the campaign belongs to.
Go to the event's Peer-to-Peer area.
Create or open a campaign from there. Campaigns do not appear as a separate item on the Events menu.
Campaigns: the overall P2P initiative attached to an event. A campaign is the umbrella under which individual fundraisers, and optionally teams, raise money toward a shared goal.
Fundraisers: individual supporters who raise money on behalf of a campaign. Each fundraiser has a personal page, a fundraising goal, and a story. A fundraiser belongs to a campaign and may optionally belong to a team. Fundraisers are managed from within a campaign. They do not appear as a standalone left menu list.
Teams: groups of fundraisers within a campaign. When a fundraiser joins a team, their totals roll up into the team's total, so teams can compete on leaderboards.
An event can have one or more P2P campaigns.
A campaign has many fundraisers and, optionally, many teams.
A fundraiser belongs to exactly one campaign, and may optionally join one team within that campaign.
When you open a campaign, the header shows key context at a glance:
Campaign name, with an Inactive badge if the campaign is not active.
Parent Event, shown as a link back to the event when available.
Raised vs goal, including a progress bar when the campaign has a fundraising goal.
Fundraisers, showing the number of people fundraising for the campaign.
Each fundraiser has a Fundraiser Type field. It is a fixed value, not a free-text or customizable dropdown, with these options:
Individual: the fundraiser is raising money on their own, not as part of a team.
TeamMember: the fundraiser is raising money as part of a team.
Because this is a fixed, code-backed value, it will not appear in the dropdown list management screen under Administration.
The fundraiser detail header shows key rollups and context when available:
Parent campaign name, with a link
Team name, if the fundraiser joined a team
Amount raised and personal goal, with a simple progress indicator
Donor count for the fundraiser's page
An Inactive badge when the fundraiser is not active
Profile photo when the fundraiser has one
Create a campaign for an event before inviting supporters to fundraise.
Open a campaign to see and manage its fundraisers.
Add fundraisers to a campaign, optionally grouping them into teams.
Track how much each fundraiser or team has raised toward the campaign goal, and how many donors have given.
Use campaigns, fundraisers, and teams as data sources when building segments or reports.
Set up your campaign and any teams before sharing fundraiser sign-up links, so fundraisers can select the right team when they join.
