Security Settings at a Glance

A quick guide to the security settings administrators see in CoolFocus.

Security Settings at a Glance

The Security settings area brings several access tools together.

Users

People who can sign in to CoolFocus. See Users.

Invitations

Pending invites for people who still need to create their login. See Invitations.

User Groups

Group of users who have the same security settings that control what they can see and do. See User Groups.

IP Addresses

Approved network locations for sign-ins, when your organization uses IP restrictions (for example, on-site users only or certain computers only). See IP Address Access.

Security Log

A record of security-related events, such as failed sign-ins and denied IP addresses, that you can filter by event type. See Security Log.

User Access Log

A unified timeline of staff sign-in activity, clinical record access, and summarized record changes. Filter by date, category, or a specific user, and export the results to a CSV file. See User Logs.

Legal & Compliance

Review and sign your organization's Business Associate / Vendor Confidentiality Agreement (BAA), download the executed PDF once signed, and find related compliance documents, such as the subprocessor list and a security overview. Available to any organization and does not require a support ticket for the standard agreement. See Legal & Compliance Settings for details.

Segments and Access Rules

Advanced settings that can limit which information a user can access.

Before You Change Security

Write down the change you are making and why. If something does not work as expected, this makes it easier to undo or adjust.
